Faster Than a Speeding Bullet
Cars Move Us
Pleasantly Surprised on a Friday Morning
Approaching my office this morning, I was pleasantly surprised to see a row of classic cars parked along William Street in downtown Manhattan.
After talking with one of the owners of this beautifully mint 1960 Mercedes-Benz 220SE, I learned that the cars were there for the filming of the upcoming TV series, Pan Am, a drama taking place in the 1960s about pilots and flight attendants.
Among the cars were an Alfa Romeo Giulia Super, a Lloyd Alexander TS, a Volvo P544 Sport, an early VW Beetle, a Triumph TR3 and a Subaru Sambar Van!
Judging by the lineup, the scene they’re filming might take place in Germany or somewhere in Europe.
