The MKIII
Often mistaken as a replica, the MKIII was the road legal production version of the Ford GT40. The front headlights were larger to house 4-lights instead of 2, the rear end was extended for luggage space, the 4.7L motor was detuned to 350hp, the shocks were softened, and the shifter lever was moved to the center. Best thing, it was available with left hand steering.
Pretty rare to see one though, as only 7-production cars were made… Most buyers rather went for the rawer road converted versions of the MKI offered for sale by Wyer.
