Panoz Esperante GT car at the 2009 running of Petit le Mans. For those who don’t know, Don Panoz created the eponymous car, and also started the American Le Mans Series in 1999. In addition, he owns IMSA, which is the organization that sanctions the ALMS. His company is headquartered in Braselton, GA, so Road Atlanta is his home track.
