Soaring RX-7
This is probably one of the most sublime RX-7 FC’s I’ve seen. There are some horrid ones and some good ones, but this one falls into a category of its own.
The owner of the car took 4-years out of his life to build it.
While there are far too many modifications to list, one of the most interesting is the removal of the stock rotary engine replaced by the Toyota 1JZ-GTE and added pair of GReddy turbos and intercoolers.
Other mods include; cams, wastegate, injectors, intake, ignition system, ECU, boost controller, twin-plate clutch, XXR Light Weight 921 wheels, 16-way dampening adjustment coil-overs, 3rd generation brakes, etc. (the list goes on).
For the cost of everything, he might have been able to afford a brand new Porsche Cayman. But then he wouldn’t have a turbo-charged Toyota Soarer powered RX-7.
