Do you see the 2002tii to the left on the lift in the back? Yeah, that’s the car they call the “M2” because it’s a got an M3 engine under the hood.

Little Friday Find
This no reserve ‘73 BMW 3.0CS with 1 bid of $1 (at the moment) now at 5-bids (haha) has just been posted up on Ebay. Its location? Pennsuaken, NJ which is just outside of Philly.
The details on the car are many. There are what the owner calls, “all the right upgrades from all the right specialists.” The engine was converted from the original CS to a CSi model and mated to a 5-speed Getrag transmission from an E23. It has a wood Alpina steering wheel and shift knob on the interior, which was recently restored with new leather and French walnut.
The electric sunroof is working and the body is covered in Montreal Blue paint which was a popular color for ’90s Bimmers. It has also gotten an undercoating to prevent rust, basically a new trunk, and the wheels are all in good shape. The owner says he has receipts for the car dating back to 2001 when he bought the car and the extensive build sheet from the previous owner.
It’s not 100% perfect though. The odometer says 80k miles but the owner says that stopped turning about a year ago. He also says there is overspray and an area of paint bubbling from the respray.
But overall it sounds like a decent find as long as the body looks straight. Just have to hope the bids don’t come pouring in! Check out the listing by clicking the link.
*Update: too late, the bids have already poured in.
